Welcome to Help With Handywork! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our services, website, and communication channels, including text and email messaging. By booking services through our website or communicating with us via text, email, or phone, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Services Provided
We provide handyman and property maintenance services for residential and commercial clients. Service details, estimates, and availability may vary and will be confirmed in writing before the start of work.

3. Booking and Estimates
Online requests are non-binding until reviewed and confirmed. We reserve the right to adjust scope and pricing after an on-site assessment. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise noted.

4. Communication Consent
By providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications from us via text, phone, or email regarding service requests, updates, scheduling, and follow-up. These communications may include service confirmations, appointment reminders, estimate or invoice notifications, and other updates related to your request.

  • Text Messages (SMS): If you opt in to receive SMS messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages at the phone number provided. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel.

  • Email: You’re welcome to unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message we send.

5. Payment Terms
Payment is due as outlined in your invoice. We accept major credit cards and other approved methods. Late payments may incur fees.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may be subject to a service fee.

7. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide high-quality service, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the cost of services rendered.

8. Information Collection & Use
We collect the following information when voluntarily provided:

  • Contact details (name, phone number, email, property address)

  • Service request and job-related information

  • Communication records (texts, emails, call logs)

    We use this data to:
  • Communicate about services and scheduling

  • Send updates and confirmations

  • Process payments and manage invoices

  • Improve our services

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to deliver services (e.g., text messaging platforms, CRM tools like Jobber).

9. Text Messaging Data Protection (A2P Compliance)
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.

10. Data Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. All communication platforms we use (e.g., Salesmsg, Jobber) employ encryption and secure handling practices.

11. Your Data Rights
You have the right to:

  • Request access to the data we store about you

  • Request deletion or correction of inaccurate data

  • Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP

  • Unsubscribe from emails using the provided link
